Worcester and Birmingham Canal - Conservation Area

Public Consultation

A conservation area is an area of special architectural or historic interest, the character or appearance of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance.

A draft Character Appraisal and Conservation Management Plan in respect of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal Conservation Area has recently been prepared.

The Council is now carrying out a formal public consultation on the draft document. If you wish to make any comments or have any queries regarding the character appraisal or the management proposals please submit these by Monday 11th November.

We will be holding informal drop in sessions on the following days;
