UK Prosperity Fund - Governance

Who decides how the fund is spent?

To unlock our £2.8m allocation, HM Government asked us to prepare an investment plan that identifies key challenges and opportunities in the district. To help us do this, we worked with stakeholders who provided local insight and expertise. These stakeholders form the Local Partnership Group.

The investment plan told the Government how much we are going to spend on each investment priority and why. The Government approved the investment plan in December 2022.

The Council decides what projects to fund based on the approved investment plan and following advice from the Local Partnership Group.
