If you have difficulty walking you can register to use our FREE equipment to help you get around Bromsgrove town centre, six days a week.
- Battery powered wheelchairs and scooters
- Manual wheelchairs
We will help you to decide on the right equipment for you and show you how to use it, and bring it out to you at our specially-designated parking spaces.
We're sorry but we are unable to register new customers at this time. We cannot safely train you on using the equipment while physical distancing guidelines remain in place.
You must be registered to use Shopmobility. You only need to do this once.
To register we just require two forms of identification, one with your photograph and another with proof of your address.
If you aren’t sure if you have what you need to register, please contact us for advice.
Booking is essential at this time so we can ensure the recommended physical distancing. We normally strongly advise that you contact us to book 24 hours in advance in any case, so that we can guarantee availability.
We will help you to decide on the appropriate equipment for you, and then you simply collect your equipment. We will train you on how to use it, and answer any questions.
We cannot help you with personal care or to be lifted. If you need this kind of support you will need to bring a helper along with you.
You can find us on level one of the Churchfields multi storey car park, or we're just past the front of the Asda supermarket.
Here we are on Google Maps:
We are open 9-4pm Monday-Saturday – closing for lunch on a Saturday. Equipment to be returned by 3.40pm. All customers must pre-book and we are unable to train new customers at this time.
Please note that in the event of adverse weather (i.e. snow and ice/heavy rain) we would not open until it is safe to operate the equipment. Please contact us in advance to check.
To register, book, or simply for more information, here are Bromsgrove Shopmobility's contact details. If you're emailing us, don't forget to provide a contact telephone number.
