Visitors can experience the world in Watercolour thanks to an all day workshop being held by Lickey Hills Art Society this April.

On 27th April Richard Crabtree, a well-known local artist and elected member of the Birmingham Watercolour Society, will be running a workshop from 10am until 4pm for residents to have a go at painting in watercolour.

The event will allow budding artists and professionals alike to come along and find out more about the watercolour medium and get some advice as well as having a go for themselves.

Richard, who is usually based at Avoncroft Arts Centre will be running the workshop at Longbridge Methodist Church Hall, Bristol Road South, B45 9TY.

Graham Wilson, who is organising the workshop, said: “Richard is an accomplished artist and this will be a fantastic opportunity to learn new techniques which will bring our paintings to life.”

The workshop will cost £25 per person for the whole day.

Bromsgrove District Council is supporting this event as part of their Arts Development initiative.
