Bromsgrove BirdBox is set to fly high again as it welcomes back visitors for a relaxing weekend of food, drink, music, and wellbeing.

The next event at BirdBox will focus on wellbeing, health, fashion, and beauty, showcasing many of the wonderful businesses in Bromsgrove who provide these services to visitors.

The event will take place over two days on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th August and will run from 12pm until 9pm on both days. There will also be additional yoga sessions with Daily Bread Yoga taking place from 8.30am on Saturday.

Daily Bread Yoga, Kindred Bromsgrove, Wellbeing Tree, Gingers, Brows with Benefits and Berry Boutique will be featured on both days.

Kindred Bromsgrove will be offering taster sessions for Reiki, Indian Head Massage, Card Readings, Palmistry, Qigong, and Crystal Healing, whilst Daily bread yoga will be offering a wide range of free taster sessions for the whole family to enjoy, giving visitors a flavour of their studio classes as well as shorter sessions for anyone to drop in and enjoy some time out.

They will also be selling their favourite yoga wear and equipment, alongside exclusive collections from independent ladies’ fashion retailer, Berry Boutique.

Well-known on Bromsgrove High Street, Gingers will be selling hair accessories and doing festival style up-dos with glitter and will also be offering free colour constructions for anyone who is stuck in a hair rut. Brows With Benefits will be providing free consultations, with all bookings made at the event receiving a fantastic 30% discount (excludes microblading).

Offering something unique at the event will be The Wellbeing Tree with their 100% Natural Henna body art for a summer vibe fix whilst offering advice on healing skin conditions such as Psoriasis and eczema. Younger audiences will be entertained with glitter body art and lucky dips.

Alongside the wellbeing vendors will be a whole host of other, local vendors, offering cocktails, prosecco, beers, cider, burgers, pizzas, waffles, cakes and more.

Music and entertainment will be provided by BRMG on Friday and DJ Kapt Kirk on Saturday.

Bromsgrove District Council Leader Karen May said: “This is exactly what BirdBox was created for, to showcase the fantastic businesses we have in our district at the same time as drawing in visitors for a fun afternoon or evening out.

“I think it is a really unique idea to have a wellbeing event and it is well needed by businesses and visitors alike after the past 18 months.”

Bromsgrove District Council, Bromsgrove Indie Club and North Worcestershire Economic Development & Regeneration have worked together to organise this event.

Bromsgrove Indie Club’s spokesperson Anthony Hall said: “It’s been a long year for all of our independents and much of the wellbeing and personal care industry was badly hit by the lockdowns. I’m pleased we’re doing something a bit different and showing off these incredible businesses.

“I hope our residents come along and support them at the weekend and enjoy the BirdBox once again!”
