Bromsgrove residents are invited to put their best foot forward and join in a selection of free health walks across the District.

Each week the walks, led by trained volunteers, offer improved health, fitness and well-being as well as the opportunity to make new friends.

Bromsgrove District Councillor Michael Thompson, whose portfolio covers Leisure, said: “Our District has some wonderful walks and views and this programme allows residents to discover what’s on their doorstep as well as keeping fit and making new friends.”

Three new walks to be added to the list are:

Blackwell (a Gentle Walk)

Wednesdays, 10.30am. Meet opposite St Catherine’s Church

Oakalls and Harwood Park Wednesdays, 2pm, Meet at play area

Stoke Heath Thursdays, 10.30am, meet at Stoke Heath Recreation Ground Existing walks include:

Bromsgrove Sanders Park Monday 10am meet by the kiosk

Lickey End Recreation Ground Tuesdays 10am – meet by the car park

Rubery Library Health Walks Thursdays 10am

Wythall Wanderers Wednesdays 2pm – meet Wythall Park car park
