Cllr Robinson has yet to announce his charities for the year ahead.
The outgoing chairman Cllr Sam Evans announced that during his term of office he held fundraising events for local charity the Basement Project.
He announced they will be receiving £3,000, which also includes a contribution of £1,500 from the District Council’s Ward Fund.
Cllr Evans said: “Over the last year it has been an honour and privilege to meet the people who work tirelessly within our communities to make our District a better place in which to live.
“I am delighted to have raised money for the Basement Project and its amazing work it is doing locally in helping young people with housing issues.”
