Funding For The Right Help At The Right Time
Funding for two posts which will help provide help to vulnerable residents get the ‘right help at the right time’ was given the green light by Bromsgrove councillors.
At Wednesday’s meeting of full Council it was agreed to allocate £38,000 to fund a Voluntary Sector Money Adviser to help signpost people to the right support they may need.
From reserved funds of £150,000 allocated to help cost of living initiatives, £62,000 will be given to Citizen’s Advice Bromsgrove to fund an Outreach Development Worker until March 2026.
This is on top of the remaining £50,000 which has funded support in Bromsgrove District Council’s Financial Inclusion Team.
Council Leader Karen May said: “We are really pleased that we can offer this support which enables us to safeguard our communities.
“This funding means that we can provide the right help at the right time and signpost our residents to the support and advice which they are in need of.”
