Got views? Then we’ve got questions for you
Residents are being encouraged to have their views heard on local issues by joining Bromsgrove District Council’s Community Panel.
The panel gives residents opportunities to share their views through regular surveys and other engagement activities, helping the council better understand the experiences, priorities, and opinions of local people.
For years the district council has been asking Community Panel members for their views and considering their feedback when making decisions.
Now more people are being sought to join it, from a range of backgrounds across the community.
The Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr Sue Baxter, said: “Everyone has opinions, and what if someone really wanted to hear yours? That’s what our Community Panel is. It gives residents a straightforward way to tell the council what they think about many issues.
“Good decisions start with listening to how people are affected. Whether you’ve lived here for years or you’re relatively new to the area, we want to hear about your local experiences and what matters to you. I’d encourage residents to sign up and have their say. We’d really like to be hearing from an even wider range of people from all walks of life on our Community Panel.”
It’s easy to take part. Residents can join or find out more at www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/communitypanel or contact 01527 548284.
