Help Shape Future Improvements to Skateparks

Residents, skatepark users and local community groups are encouraged to have their say on the future of skateparks at Sanders Park and St Chad's Park.

Bromsgrove District Council has launched a public consultation on proposed improvements. The consultation aims to gather feedback from people who currently use the skatepark, or have in the past.

Responses will help the Council better understand how the facilities are used and identify opportunities for future investment and improvements.

The Council is inviting people of all ages, including skateboarders, BMX riders, scooter users, inline skaters, families and, local residents, to complete a short online survey and share their views.

Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, Leisure and Culture, Cllr Shirley Webb, said: “Our skateparks are important community facilities, they provide opportunities for people of all ages to be active, socialise, and learn new skills. We want to hear from as many users as possible to help us understand what improvements would make the biggest difference. Thank you to everyone who takes the time to share their views.”

As part of the consultation, members of the public can also attend two drop-in engagement events to speak directly with Council representatives and discuss what improvements they would like to see.

• St Chad's Park Skatepark, Tuesday 8 September, 3pm to 5pm
