Saturday Fright Fever hits Bromsgrove

Things are about to get frightfully bright as Sanders Park prepares to welcome thousands of visitors to a Halloween Light Trail event featuring fun for all the family.

Visitors brave enough to enter will encounter a variety of experiences along the trail, including the floating ‘Twisted Twins’ projection and ‘Ghoul Glow Gateway Walkthrough’.

The seasonal trail itself includes magical illuminated paths, sparkling trees, and eerie ghostly projections that light up the night.

Hosted by Bromsgrove District Council, the trail takes place on Saturday 31st October as Sanders Park is transformed with immersive visual installations.

There are interactive photo opportunities throughout the trail, so residents are encouraged to dress up for the event in their spookiest Halloween costumes.

Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Cllr. Shirley Webb said: “Events like this showcase the very best of our district. It's wonderful to see one of our parks transformed into such a unique experience for families to enjoy.

“It’s fantastic that we continue to be able to offer the event free to all, and we hope to see as many people attend as possible, costumes or not!”

The ‘Sanders spooktacular’ opens at 5pm and runs through until 10pm. It’s parking for Blue Badge holders only at the Kidderminster Road entrance so please find alternative parking, use public transport or, if you are able, pop down on foot.

Alongside the trail, guests can enjoy delicious treats and drinks from the ‘Trick or Treat Street Food Court’ and can enjoy the thrills of the funfair.
