Bromsgrove District Council are pleased to invite families to make the most of their summer holidays with the unveiling of the annual FREE Summer Fun programme.

Returning for 2026, running throughout the school holidays, Summer Fun is a six-week programme of free activities designed to help children, young people, and families stay active, learn new skills, and boost their wellbeing in the great outdoors.

With the first activities starting on 21 July, there’ll be a range of activities taking place until 27 August.

Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, Leisure and Culture, Cllr. Shirley Webb, said: “Summer Fun is all about giving local families the opportunity to enjoy quality time together during the school holidays. With six weeks of free activities on offer, there's something for everyone, whether that's discovering a new hobby, getting active outdoors or simply making lasting memories with friends and family. We're delighted to bring another exciting programme to Sanders Park this summer.”

With everything from tennis coaching and freestyle football to science workshops, theatre performances, and circus skills, this summer's programme promises something for all ages and interests.

Every event takes place outdoors and is free to attend making it a great opportunity to try something new this summer.
