The Sound of Summer Returns
Bromsgrove District Council announces the return of the Music in the Bandstand for another year.
The park will be filled with the joy of live music every Sunday (except 12 July) between June and September. The bands will be taking centre stage in the Sanders Park bandstand.
Between 2.30pm and 4.30pm residents can experience the sounds of local bands in a variety of different genres.
Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing, and Leisure and Culture, Cllr. Shirley Webb, said: “I’m pleased to see Music in the Bandstand back at Sanders Park this summer. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together, enjoy fantastic live music, and make the most of our beautiful green spaces. I’d encourage everyone to pack a picnic, meet up with friends and family, and spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon outdoors - there really is no better way to enjoy the summer.”
This vibrant programme showcases an exciting mix of talented performances, from the bold sounds of brass bands to the smooth rhythms of jazz and big band ensembles.
The events are completely free to attend, making them an ideal way to enjoy Bromsgrove’s beautiful green spaces.
