VCS invited to bid for Equality Small Grants pot
Voluntary and community groups in the Bromsgrove District are invited to bid for up to £1k of the council’s £10K pot of Equality Small Grant funding.
The grants are specifically designed to support smaller voluntary, charitable, or community organisations/groups who can often find it difficult to meet the eligibility criteria of larger grants.
Anyone interested in applying can bid for funding up to £1K, for activities or projects that benefit the community issues and challenge inequality, advanced equality, and/or celebrate diversity.
This is the sixth year that the Equality Small Grants scheme has opened for applications, successfully supporting small organisations to deliver projects and activities.
This round of funding can be used to support projects and activities scheduled to be delivered in the financial year 2025/26 up until the 31st of March 2026.
The application process opens from 9.00am on Wednesday 5th March 2025, until 12.00pm on Wednesday 2nd April 2025.
Leader of Bromsgrove District Council, Cllr Karen May, said: “It’s great that we have been able to continue to support the smaller organisations with such substantial grants which make such a difference to them.”
“The types of projects that these grants are supporting is important to furthering equality and celebrating diversity in the Bromsgrove District. This is key to enabling these groups to grow, and the district in its entirety to become a better Bromsgrove.”
There is set criteria in place that anyone wishing to apply must meet. The application form, guidance and contact details are available at Equality Small Grants Scheme 2025-26 on our website.
