Disability Sailing

Working in partnership with Upton Warren Sailing Club and Aztec Upton Warren, our sessions are delivered by qualified RYA Instructors and volunteers who do a fantastic job for us! 

With no experience necessary and a range of equipment and boats available, with adaptions for different people, this enables absolutely anyone to go sailing.

Sessions will take place at Aztec Upton Warren Worcester Rd, Bromsgrove B61 7ER. The first session of the year is on Monday 22nd April and places are available to book now via the link further down this page. There will be 45 min timeslots between 5:30pm-7:30pm and will cost £4.50 per session.

Places available on our boats:

Hansa Dinghy -  Our single and two seater dinghy are available where once out sailing you'll be given complete control of your boat, learning how to steer it, adjust the sails and control the speed. How far you take it is up to you.

Wheely boat - We have a motorised Wheely boat where wheelchair users can board and be taken around the lake by one of our volunteers. An opportunity to experience a trip around our lake from your normal chair. Our Wheely boat allows you to roll onto it via its landing craft type ramp at the front.

Cruiser - Our larger Cruiser boats aim to provide a sailing experience where no experience is necessary. While on our boats you'll be accompanied by a volunteer from Upton Warren Sailing Club whilst sailing around our lake.
