Sports Team Grant Scheme

Sports Clubs and organisations have been successful in accessing the Sports Team Grant Scheme which is funding to help support and develop activities, tournaments, new teams and leagues for ages 16+.

In the latest round of funding we have an opportunity for sports clubs in the Bromsgrove District to apply for funding between £500-£1000 to deliver tournaments, events or activities to support developing new teams within their club.

The tournaments, events or activities must target ages 16+ and funding can be used towards staffing, venue hire, equipment and marketing.

Applications that target the development of under-represented groups such as disabilities, ethnic minorities, females and LGBTQ+ will be favoured.

Tournaments, events or activities must be delivered by 31st March 2025.

This funding stream is part of the UK Shared Prosperity Fund which is intended to help communities across the country, support people living or working in the UK.
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.  The Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
