Skate Parks Consultation

Bromsgrove District Council is the data controller for the information collected through this survey.

What information do we collect?

The Parks and Open Spaces Department is collecting the following information to understand the demographics of the users of skate parks.

• Age
• Gender
• Disability

Why we collect your data

This survey is an engagement exercise to understand how the skate parks are being used and how they can be improved. The survey does not ask for names, contact details or other information that would normally identify an individual. The results will help us tailor those improvements.

Legal basis for processing

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary.

Information about disability or long-term health conditions is collected solely for equality monitoring purposes and to help us ensure that skate facilities are accessible and inclusive. This information is processed under Article 9(2)(g) UK GDPR and Schedule 1, Part 2, Paragraph 8 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (Equality of Opportunity or Treatment).

How we collect your data

Through the online questionnaire and public consultation events at Sanders Park and St Chads Park and on the 4^th and 8^th September 2026 respectively. None of the information directly identifies you. Responses will be analysed anonymously and will not be linked back to identifiable individuals.

Will we share your data?

Survey responses will only be accessed by authorised council officers involved in the project. Information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law.
