Better Bromsgrove Slider

Bromsgrove residents are invited to demonstrate their pride in the District as part of the national ‘Love Where You Live’ campaign.

On Saturday Bromsgrove District Council will be hosting a market stall in the High Street asking people to pledge how they will  ‘Love Where You Live’.

Officers will be demonstrating pocket ashtrays, to stop butts being dropped, revealing the ‘Gum Drops’ chewing gum bins initiative and there’s a chance to win a re-usable water bottle too.

Bromsgrove District Councillor Karen May, whose Portfolio covers Economic Development, said: “It’s very easy for people to criticise the place where they live and complain about issues like litter and graffiti".

“But we all have a duty to look after our communities which begins with easy steps like not dropping litter in the first place.

“Let’s build a Better Bromsgrove together and take pride in our district for the benefit of everyone.”

The stall will be open from 9.30am to 4 pm so drop by and find out how you can play your part to make Bromsgrove an even better place to live.
