The Easter Bunny paid a visit to some lucky youngsters last week at a very special Easter party.

Children of all ages from across the district attended the party hosted by Bromsgrove Parenting and Community Team at Parkside on Wednesday (April 17).

The youngsters enjoyed making Easter Bonnets to take part in a parade, mosaic Easter Eggs, Easter cards, and joined in an Easter egg hunt too, as well as face painting. Every child that attended received snacks, a free Easter gift to take home and enjoyed a story and song session by the Library.

A special thank you goes to Bromsgrove Lidl who donated 80 chocolate Lambs and bunnies for the children who came along.

Lou Hall, personal friend of the Easter Bunny and Parenting and Community Team Officer, said: “We went all out with our Easter activities and we know that the children who came along had an absolute ball. A big thank you to the team who worked really hard to put it on and to the supermarkets who donated. We’re pleased that so many children and families came along and we hope you all had a lovely time.”

The Parenting and Community service is for all families in Bromsgrove with children and young people aged 0-19 years.
