A feast of festive fun for Bromsgrove’s Christmas Lights switch-on event has been revealed.

On Saturday November 18th the Friends of St John’s Christmas Market will line High Street with stalls and there will be funfair rides and music too.

From 3.30pm to 5.30pm the switch-on countdown celebrations will begin with street theatre and singers on the main stage.

The festivities, including music, will continue til 9.30pm, thanks to the Indie Club ,with food and drink available at BirdBox from noon.

Bromsgrove District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, Cllr Steven Colella said: “Each year this event gets bigger and better and what’s more its free for everyone to enjoy.”

The market will run from 9am til 6pm but there’s also a chance to catch it the day before from 9am til 4pm (Friday Nov 17)

Friends of St John’s Chairman Jo Slade said: “It is great to see the High Street bustling as we host these festivities and I am sure this year will be no exception.”
