From lovely lakes and super slides to extraordinary events and fantastic flowers, Bromsgrove parks have something for everyone to enjoy.

Which is why Bromsgrove District Council is urging residents to take time and enjoy the open spaces as part of Love Parks Week which runs from July 28 to August 6.

The Council has signed up to Keep Britain Tidy’s annual campaign which celebrates parks, green spaces and the dedicated volunteers and workers who look after them.

Bromsgrove District Cllr Steven Colella, whose portfolio covers Parks, said: “Our parks provide a place for people of all ages to congregate whether it’s to compete with friends on one of our courts, enjoy a picnic with friends and family or just walk the dog.

“We also organise a host of events throughout the year providing more free fun for everyone!”

The Council has a fun packed Summer programme of events in its parks, some to coincide with Love Parks Week. The Sanders Park programme includes:

  • Green Fun Day Saturday 29th July 11am - 4pm A fun day for all the family, celebrating all things green & sustainable. FREE entrance & parking.
