Christmas Postcard Hits District

A helpful postcard which brings together festive events across Bromsgrove and its centres, is now available.

As well as the Christmas light switch on and Friends of St John Christmas markets on November 21st and 22nd in Bromsgrove town centre, a host of other switch on events are being held in Bromsgrove’s centres, supported by the District Council.

From the switching on of lights and markets to tasty food and live music, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

The districtwide events include:

Alvechurch, Saturday November 29th, from 4pm, Village Square outside Co-op

Aston Fields, Sunday December 14th, street party from 3pm, Aston Fields centre

Barnt Green, Saturday November 29th, from 3.30pm, Millenium Park

Catshill, Saturday November 22nd, from 3pm, Catshill Village Hall

Hagley, Saturday November 29th, from 4pm, Worcester Road

Rubery, Saturday November 29th, from 3pm, Co-op car park

Wythall, Friday November 28th, 4.45pm, The War Memorial, Gorsey Lotts

Leader of Bromsgrove District Council, Cllr Karen May, said: “Once again there is an amazing line-up of festive fun across the district and what’s more, they are free!

“To help residents keep track of what’s on we have created a physical postcard with all the dates and times on which is being distributed across the district including Parkside and libraries.”For more information about the different events, pick up a postcard at your local library or our Customer Service Centre at Parkside, if you prefer digital then check on the council website or our socials.
