Summer at Sanders filled with fun
From circus workshops to a bubbleologist, there's something for everyone as Bromsgrove District Council launches its programme of Summer Fun.
Held in Sanders Park the fun starts on Monday July 21st with a Dragon Fly Arts & Crafts with the programme running on Mondays until August 25th.
Clive Chandler’s Punch and Judy will be putting on a show on Tuesday 29th July & Tuesday 19th August with three shows at 12pm, 1:30pm and 3pm.
Glamba Drumming Workshops return again this year with dates in both July and August. Hula Hoop shows and workshops are also returning in August.
Bromsgrove District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Cllr Bernard McEldowney, said: “The Summer Holidays can really test parents with finding things to keep their children entertained, even more so finding things within ever tightening budgets.
“This programme of events has something for everyone – and what’s more, the majority of the activities are free!”
There is no booking required for any of the activities, just turn up and enjoy the fun. The majority of our Summer Fun activities are free this year with only a few requiring a small additional charge.
A Natural History Travelling Museum and a Kiddies Corner are also making up the scheduled activities – to see the full programme visit https://www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/summerfun.
