Charging points
In the district
Here's how to find an online map of the charging points in the district and beyond .
GeniePoint Rapid Charging Network
The Council successfully won funding for electric vehicle chargers from the Governments' Ultra Low Emission Taxi Infrastructure Scheme. We are working with the nationwide network providers GeniePoint Network to deliver a robust and reliable network of rapid chargers for drivers in our District. Thirteen 50kW rapid chargers in total are being funded through this scheme across the district.
We currently have 9 chargers live and we are working hard on delivering an additional 4 across the district.
Charger benefits:
- 100% renewable energy from UK supplies
- Contactless payment via debit or credit card
- No connection fee
- No membership needed
- Discounts for Bromsgrove District registered taxi drivers
Future Charging Requirements
We are planning to provide additional chargers in our car parks which may assist those that don't have their own drives to charge electric cars overnight.
