Sanders turns green this June

Bromsgrove District Council has set a date in the calendar for the long-standing Green Fair event, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The free entry event has taken place in the District for over a decade and will again take place at Sanders Park, on Saturday June 7th between 11am and 7pm.

The Green Fair is being given a fresh start this year, proactively promoting sustainability, biodiversity, climate change awareness, nature, upcycling and health and wellbeing.

Cabinet Member for Leisure, Cllr. Bernard McEldowney said: “The Green Fair event is a brilliant chance for residents to get involved and learn about how to promote a greener tomorrow in the District.”

The Fair at Sanders Park will have information stalls, health, wellbeing and mindfulness activities as well as arts & crafts activities with the aim to inspire, educate and celebrate.

In addition, there will also be live entertainment, a children’s funfair and a food court.
