Council Tax discounts and disregards for carers

Find out if you're eligible for a Council Tax Discount from us if you care for someone, or work as a care worker.

Carers Allowance

You could get Carers Allowance from the government if you care for someone at least 35 hours a week and they get certain benefits. You do not have to be related to, or live with, the person you care for to be eligible.
