Disability - Adaptive tennis session designed for those with a range of disabilities
Time: 12:15-1:00pm
A smaller quieter session with adaptive and sensory tennis equipment at the ready. This includes lighter rackets, catching nets, a range of balls in colours, sizes, textures and sounds, bases to hit from and a slower pace to accommodate. Activators will be on court to guide and offer support. Parastanding and wheelchair player’s welcome.
Adult Coaching - Walking tennis for adults
Time: 1:15-2:00pm
If you're recovering from illness or injury, or have reduced mobility, walking tennis is a wonderful way to stay active. Walking tennis is a slower, more accessible version of traditional tennis designed to be less physically demanding, allowing players to walk, not run or jump, and uses a slightly slower ball that you can let bounce twice.
Barclays Free Park Tennis - Free courts for age 13+
Time: 2:15-3:00pm
An open session for anyone aged 13+ to pick up a racket and hit some balls over the net. Activators will be on court to rally with you or come with friends and family and play together!
