Sanders Park is Bromsgrove’s premier park and it attracts over 350,000 visitors per year.

Covering 16.3 hectares to the west of Bromsgrove, the park links the town to the countryside beyond. Together with the small valley of the Battlefield Brook that runs through it, has been an important green space for the town for centuries. It was formally opened as a park in 1968.

The park is accessible 24 hours a day 365 days a year to pedestrians, but car parking has restricted hours

  • Outdoor skate park
  • Two Multi Use Games areas
  • State of the art children's play area
  • The Jubilee Bandstand
  • Toilets including disabled facilities (the café is currently closed for refurbishment)
  • Start point for the Royal Hunters' Walks. Three beautiful walks start in Sanders Park, the walks were created in partnership with Worcestershire County Council many years ago.
  • Sensory garden.
  • Disabled parking and many of the footpaths are tarmac and suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users.
  • Public toilets. Monday - Sunday 8am - 5pm, Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. The toilets have baby changing facilities. Disabled facilities. RADAR key access. Vehicle access during park opening hours only

Sanders Park Café is temporarily closed for refurbishment, after the previous tenant operator’s lease came to an end.

We are now considering next steps.

In the interim, a mobile catering provider will be sought to offer refreshment while a long-term solution is finalised.

Sanders Park Car Park (2.1m height Barrier). has 82 general parking spaces, 6 Disabled and 2 electric car charging points.

Note: This car park is open at 7.30am and has a varied closing time throughout the year. Please check closing time sign to right of the entrance barrier.

We have a regular programme of events during the summer in the park, with an open-air bandstand concert every Sunday and a family fun programme during the summer holidays. You can find out about all Activities and Events in the district here
