A new Community Investment Fund (CIF) is available to fund projects across the district to revitalise neighbourhoods, empower local communities and improve residents’ quality of life.  The funding must be for the creation of new, or improvements to, existing public buildings or green/blue spaces.

Funding and eligibility

Capital grants are available from £5,000 - £30,000 for projects that deliver neighbourhood improvements to public buildings or green and blue spaces.

Eligible projects are creation of new, or improvements to, existing public buildings for example village halls, community centres, libraries, public toilets.

Green and blue projects include creation of new, or improvements to, existing spaces such as parks, public gardens, playing fields, children’s play areas, woods, cemeteries and allotments.
