Neighbourhood Plan 'Made'
At a meeting of Full Council on Wednesday 22nd January 2020, Bromsgrove District Council decided to 'make' the Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Development Plan 2018-2030, which now forms part of the statutory development plan for determining planning applications in the neighbourhood area.

Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Result
A referendum was held on the Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Plan on Thursday 12th December 2019. The referendum question asked the following; Do you want Bromsgrove District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?

Examiner's Report, Decision Statement and Referendum
Following an independent examination of the Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Development Plan, the examiner's report was received by Bromsgrove District Council and the Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group on the 12th September 2019. A modified version of the Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Development Plan will now proceed to Referendum.

Regulation 16 Representation Period
The joint Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett Neighbourhood Plan has been submitted to Bromsgrove District Council. The District Council is satisfied the Neighbourhood Plan is in accordance with Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended). The plan is therefore being publicised and representations are invited during a six week period from 14th February - 29th March 2019 as part of the Council's obligations under Regulation 16 of the above regulations.

SEA and HRA Screening Assessment
A screening assessment was undertaken in to check if the emerging draft Neighbourhood Plan required a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) or a Habitat Regulations Assessment (HRA). Area Designation
Bromsgrove District Council approved the designation of the area covering Lickey & Blackwell parish and Cofton Hackett parish as a neighbourhood area in October 2014. The qualifying bodies were Lickey & Blackwell and Cofton Hackett parish councils.
