Weatheroak Hill Walk
Weatheroak Hill Walk
From street trees to local parks, and from woodlands to rugged open landscapes, green spaces provide places for recreation and relaxation. They also provide homes for nature, and essential ecosystem services like drainage to prevent flooding.
What can you expect?
As well as a fabulous view of Bromsgrove and beyond when you reach the top of the hill, the walk, there and back, is roughly 500m in length with a steady incline to the top. After periods of rain, the path may become muddy in places, so sturdy footwear is needed. You will find sheep in the fields so please keep your dog on a lead whilst using the path and take any litter home with you.
National Trust has been working with the landowner, farmer and the Coach and Horses pub to create this new path so the view at the top of Weatheroak Hill can be enjoyed. This has been made possible through funding from Cotswold Outdoor.
Weatheroak Hill has been opened as a temporary path to see if more paths like this would be used across the local landscape. This is part of the proposals the National Trust, with the support of others, is working on for a new regional park.
