Bromsgrove District Council Off Street Parking Order 2026

The Council is making changes to the car parking order which governs the use of Council run off-street car parks in Bromsgrove. The previous order which was made in 2024 is being replaced by the Bromsgrove District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2026. The new order will come into effect on 25th September 2026.

There are no changes to the pricing of car parking charges. The main effect of the order will be to remove one of the existing car parks (Stourbridge Road Car Park) from the Order. The reason for this is that the land currently occupied by the car park is being sold by the council for re-development. Stourbridge Road Car Park will no longer be available for use as a car park from 25th September 2026.

Season ticket holders are asked to note that the four remaining car parks for which season tickets will be valid will be: -

  • School Drive Car Park
  • Parkside Car Park
  • North Bromsgrove Car Park
  • New Road Car Park

Under the relevant legislation the Council advertised the proposed changes in a local newspaper on 14th August 2026.

Hard copies of the all the relevant documents are available to inspect in person at the Customer Service Centre, Bromsgrove District Council, Parkside, Market Street, Bromsgrove B61 8DA from 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
