Street Name Plates/Signs

Street name plates/signs are the wall-mounted or column-mounted signs that give the name of a street.

The District Council is responsible for the repair and maintenance of street name plates/signs on adopted roads when this becomes necessary, either due to accidental damage, vandalism or normal wear and tear.

In the case of a new development however, the developer is required to provide and erect the initial street name signs.

If you notice a street name plate that is damaged or in poor condition, please let us know using the report links below.
