Garden Waste Bin Replacements 2026

Garden waste bins (brown) in your area are changing. If you are currently subscribed to the service, your bin swap will take place between January and February 2026 

Old style bin like this, will be replaced with the new style	Bins looking like this, will remain.

If you already have a fully brown new Comb type bin shown above on the right, this is already compatible with our new collection vehicles and does not need replacing. No further action is required.

You will continue to use your bin as normal once the 2026 season begins.  

Those with old Diamond type bins will be replaced with a new Comb type bin:

• Your new bin will arrive before or in the same week as your old bin is collected.
• Please leave your bin accessible and visible on your scheduled bin swap week

• If your bin wasn’t replaced, you are on a different bin round. You will be scheduled in the future.
• If your road has new bins but you haven't received one, and you believe you’re in the same round as them, please get in touch so we can look into it.
• If you didn’t receive new bin after old one was removed, please get in touch so we can look into it.
• If you still have old style bin, please get in touch so we can look into it.
• If a new bin delivered by mistake, please get in touch so we can look into it.
  If only one of multiple brown bins was swapped, please get in touch so we can look into it.

From March 2026 we cannot empty the old diamond-type bins, it is essential that your old bin is accessible for replacement.

Our contractors work Monday to Sunday so your new bin could arrive at any point during that week. Your old diamond bin will only be removed on your collection day once it has been emptied.

If you've had the new bin delivered but the old style hasn't been removed by the end of the scheduled week, please get in touch so we can remove it.
