Why do we collect your information?

ReNEW (Rediscover North East Worcestershire) is a project that helps young people in North East Worcestershire explore creativity, learn new skills, and discover careers in the arts. To make this happen, we need some information about you so you can join and take part safely.

What information do we collect?

We collect details like:

• Your name and contact info
• Your age
• Who to contact in an emergency
• How you’ll travel to activities
• Any medical information we need to keep you safe
• Race or ethnic origin
• Gender identity

If you’re under 18, we also collect the name and contact details of a parent or guardian.

Photos and Videos

You can choose if we can use photos or videos of you to promote the project online or on social media.

If you say no, you can still take part in everything.

If you say yes but change your mind later, just tell us and we’ll stop using them. Contact us at renewinfo@bromsgroveandredditch.gov.uk.

Why do we need this information?

We use your information to:

• Run the project and keep you safe
• Meet legal requirements
• Help in emergencies

Who sees your information?

• ReNEW project team and Policy team at Bromsgrove District Council (to review applications)
• Young Solutions (they help with project communications)
• Emergency services if you need medical help
• The National Lottery (only anonymised data, not your personal details)
• The professional arts providers who are delivering the project strands (so they can lead sessions)

How long do we keep it?

For successful applicants - 2 years from closing applications

For unsuccessful applicants – 6 months from closing applications

Where is your information kept?

Your information stays in the UK.
